We left Alice Springs and headed across the Tanami camping one night along the way and then the next at a place called Sawpit gorge, near to Halls Creek. Spinifex hills looking so green And this is the road into ElQuestro with a train of caravans infront of us 🙄

We've made it to El Questro to see Noah, who's working here as a helicopter pilot. He dropped in at our beautiful private campsite (not in the helicopter) and took us to pigeonhole lookout for sunset.  Today, we spent several hours in Amalia gorge - walking, swimming, eating lunch and reading books. Beautiful weather!! 

We spent a few days with Alice and Jack in this national park visiting Palm Valley and then driving the gorge 4wd track. Some fabulous creations! 

 A lovely loop walk in the Trephina gorge NP that we first did a few years ago. The walk starts by climbing up along the rim of the gorge allowing you to look down into it . You then descend into the gorge and walk down stream encountering several rock pools. Lots of rock hopping, optional bouldering and swimming.

Amazing how unplugged we feel. Haven’t even been taking many photos.  Spent a couple of days camped at this waterhole with Jack and Alice. Beautiful swimming 😊 And saw this handsome dingo on the drive out.  

  After a quick hello to Jack and Alice, we headed west to a lovely ridgetop camp at Redbank gorge. It was great to spend a few days, with amazing weather, seeing the gorge (with icy swims) climbing Rwetyepme (pronounced roo-choop-ma) aka Mt Sonder We spent a fair bit of time reading books and sleeping too.
