Birding
So many birds to see up here but mostly impossible to photograph. We spent a few hours at a place called Marlgu billabong which just completely overwhelmed us. We logged 18 species (and a crocodile) in a bit over an hour.
Heading north
We've left the farm in the capable hands of Meisha and, after a visit with family in Adelaide, are heading north. Here's our first desert camp - somewhere near Coober Pedy Our trusty farm ute has been set up as an off-road tourer again. This time with a basic plywood box for for a kitchen and storage with a rooftop tent. There's also a big awning on the kitchen side which we didn't need to open as we rolled in late and left early morning to do big kms to get to Alice Springs.
